Well, you can’t say that you’re surprised – this morning Broadcom announced that they are divesting their End-User Computing (EUC) Division, which is being rebranded as Omnissa.
The renowned global investment firm, KKR, will transform this division into an independent entity while ensuring continuity in its leadership. While specific details are currently limited, there is a clear commitment to advancing research, development, and support for the existing product offerings.
Until the deal closes (which is expected later this year), we don’t expect any immediate changes beyond those that have already occurred since the Broadcom acquisition. You should still be able to buy new and renew existing subscriptions.
After the KKR deal closes, we anticipate changes to be on the way, so stay tuned for an update as more information comes to light!
